Big Changes Coming

It’s been a bad year. In 2025, my mom fell seriously ill, and required emergency surgery that left her without most of her stomach. From May to December, I was her caretaker, helping her in almost every way imaginable. Her health slowly deteriorated. Near the end, she was practically a skeleton.

It was a difficult Christmas, made worse by the fact that she passed away the day after New Year. My family and I have been in morning for a while, but slowly things are going back to normal.

This also means that I am going to make some major changes, including to my Patreon. In the next few weeks, you will be seeing some exciting new projects. I want to thank everyone that stuck around. Hopefully you will enjoy what I have coming up. Stay Tuned!

Take Me To Your Dealer

One of my favorite little cartoons, this was originally in black and white for my short story magazine. The year it was made, however, is the year that marijuana was legalized in Canada, which made the joke a little less funny for those of us north of the border.

The Ace of Spies

He’s the inspiration for James Bond. His name was Sydney Riley, also known as the Ace of Spies. After a failed attempt to kill Lenin, he becomes enemy #1 of the communists. He’s one of the characters for the Fontaine Mysteries.

King Phillip II of Macedon

Before there was Alexander the Great, there was the legendary king who subdued all the Greeks (except the Spartans) and created the Hegemon! Could there be a cooler character for a video game?

Alexander Artwork (More)

A couple of designs for the “Shining Force” inspired game I call “Alexander”, which is a historical fiction story focusing on the exploits of Alexander the Great.

Sci-Fi Series Artwork

Sometimes, when you want to write a story, you have a character in mind even before the story is completely written. In this case, I haven’t even picked her name yet, and still I know everything about her. She is sexy, strong, but a little cold. She is missing an arm, the result of a war injury. She’s the captain of her own vessel, crewed by a ragtag team of misfits that just try and survive in a cruel Universe.

Alexander (Game) Artwork

Over a decade ago, I had an idea for a video game. If you’ve ever played old school tactical RPG’s, then you might be familiar with a series called “Shining Force”. This charming little game was my introduction to the genre, and thanks to the power of nostalgia, I’ve always dreamed of making the ultimate tribute game.

I tend to also be a big fan of historical fiction. In my opinion, there’s no easier way to write compelling stories than by borrowing from the past. There are certain lives that stand out, and few are as remarkable as the subject of my story, Alexander the Great.

I’ll be posting more artwork in the coming days for this project. Be sure to check out the dedicated page on the site if you’d like more information.

The Fontaine Mysteries

The period between the First and Second World War is an interesting time. IT’s also the setting for a story of mine, called “The Tsar’s Lost Treasure”. It’s a tribute to the adventure series like “Tintin” and “Spirou and Fantasio“, Belgium cartoons that had a big influence on my art.
