There was a time when finishing a game on the hardest difficulty would give you unique rewards or achievements. Unfortunately, in this “everybody gets a ribbon” world, videogames often no longer lock specific achievements behind level difficulty. Instead, it’s usually a collectathon. Boring.
Anyways, if you’ve ever played God of War on the “Give Me God of War” difficulty, you would realize that it’s damn difficult to finish, and deserves more than a cosmetic achievement! I was a little butthurt about the whole thing, so I made this an “tweeted” it to the company. I recieved no response.
